About this Ministry
Sunday School – Sundays 9:00AM
Youth Sunday school classes range from 7th through 12th grade and seek to equip students with knowledge and resources so that they are capable of reading, understanding and applying the Bible on their own and make wise, God-glorifying decisions in life. Our teachers lead studies through books of the Bible as well as topical studies aimed at accomplishing those goals.
Youth Bible Study – Wednesdays 6:30-8:00PM
Pastor Scott Slater leads a Youth Bible Study that covers a variety of topics and studies. All students and their friends are invited to join!
Participants are involved in a variety of activities designed to promote spiritual growth and Christian fellowship. Special activities include mission trips, camps, conferences and other outreach/fellowship activities. Please look at the youth calendar for upcoming events. The best way to ensure you learn about upcoming activities is to make sure you are on the email list with pastor Scott and that you follow MMBC on Instagram and Facebook.

Disciple now is a weekend where the youth focus on growing in their personal walks with Jesus by developing their practice of personal spiritual disciplines. The personal spiritual disciplines are those activities we do to foster spiritual growth in our lives like prayer, bible reading, scripture memory, etc. So, growing in our practice of these is vital to have vibrant, thriving personal walks with God.
Growing in our relationship with God is something we like to do together, which is why we also spend time on this retreat having a ton of fun.
Students will need to be dropped off by 5:00 pm in the church parking lot on Friday 1/28 and picked up in the parking lot at 8:30 pm on 1/29.
Current Studies / Curriculum
Healthy Church Study Guides
Sunday Morning Bible Studies switch between studying the book of the Bible the current sermon series is on and ten Healthy Church Study Guides. These are 6-7 week studies that teach about the church and what the church is called to be and do.
The book of Acts is a fascinating look into the beginnings of the church. it contains some of the most amazing works of God and the most challenging obstacles the church faced. As we walk through the book of Acts together we will learn how we are to live out our faith as we’ve been sent by Jesus into a world that is waiting to hear his message.
This study meets on Wednesdays at 6:30pm in room 206 of the education building behind the sanctuary.
